Z. Carmen Morales, Senior Associate

Ms. Morales was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2002. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in 1997 from the University of California, Los Angeles majoring in English. She continued her education at the University of West Los Angeles where she obtained her doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2001.

Professional Activities

Ms. Morales’ professional experience began in workers’ compensation in 2003. She initiated her practice representing injured workers for about six months, thereafter she switched to the defense side to sharpen her litigation skills. She has represented public entities and self-insureds as well as third-party administrators. She has been successful in her defense of petitions for penalties, petitions under 132(a), and has obtained Findings and Awards with a “take nothing”. Ms. Morales has participated in employer claims reviews and has participated and conducted presentations for claims personnel advising of updates in the law.

Ms. Morales enjoys dancing and long walks in the park.
